Arches National Park
Arches National Park is just one of many reason that I would like to travel back to Utah. Many do not realize how beautiful this state is. At this point, I have only been fortunate enough to visit Arches National Park in Utah. This left a lasting impression of being one of my favorite parks, especially in terms of how unique the sights are.
Some other parks that are at the top of my list of wanting to visit are also located in Utah. Two of these are Zion and Bryce National Parks. I might actually have an opportunity to go visit these next summer, if plans with some of my friends work out.
Have you been to Utah? If you have suggestions of places to go visit and see, please do leave a comment!

I loved Arches! But if you liked that, yes, you’d also like Bryce Canyon (http://www.nps.gov/brca/index.htm) for its hoodoos (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoodoo_(geology)). Zion was neat, but I didn’t find it as interesting as the Grand and Bryce.
Nearby is also Yosemite in California (http://www.nps.gov/yose/index.htm), and Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons in Wyoming (http://www.nps.gov/yell/index.htm and http://www.nps.gov/grte/index.htm). A little closer to home – maybe a good stop on your way to Utah – is the Badlands in South Dakota (http://www.nps.gov/badl/index.htm).
